My game room, as with the majority of collectors, is in my basement. The room is loosely centered around my favorite game, Missile Command, and spreads out from there. The entry view is this:

Since Missile Command is my favorite, I wanted it to be the first game seen as you enter the room.

Taking an immediate and sharp left upon entering, you see this:
Marble Madness is one of several party favorites, and currently the only game in my collection that allows two player simultaneous play. Bubbles is easy to learn but is a difficult game to play well.

Starting to move right, the next area you see is this:
Turkey Shoot is a rare game, and I'm fortunate to have one in excellent condition. It is another party favorite, but gets very difficult for the new player very quickly. An experienced player can play this game for a long time though.

Continuing right we see this:
Liberator is a rare game. However it is very difficult to play and hence is not popular or highly valued. Wacko is a unique looking game with the tilted header and control panel. It is somewhat uncommon. Playablility is okay, not great, but not horrible. It tends to be a little too hard to play to make it a lot of fun. It's more of a show piece for it's unique cabinet design. Reactor is a rare game. Fairly easy to play. It is a desirable game to collectors. I do not care for the game and it will probably be for sale soon.

Continuing right we see this:
Millipede is a farily common game, although not as common as it's prequel, Centipede. However I think Millipede is a lot more fun. Food Fight is somewhat uncommon. It is easy to play and a lot of fun.

Missile Command is my favorite game. It is a difficult game to play and therefore not played a lot at parties. It combines reaction, stragety and skill into what I feel is an ultimate challenge. It is a farily common game. Quantum is very rare and highly sought after by collectors. It is easy to learn and fun to play. It get's played a lot at parties. My Major Havoc is a Gravitar conversion and the only non-dedicated game in the room. It takes some time to learn this game. However, once you do, it is quite addicting and a lot of fun. There is probably more stragety to this game than any other in my game room.

Continuing right we see this:
Black Widow is a fairly collectable game. It was Atari's version of Robotron. Robotron played better, but this is still a great game. It takes some time to get used to the controls, so people playing it at parties tend not to care for it too much. Tempest is a common game. Very collectible, easy to learn and play. Everyone knows Pac-Man, enough said.

Continuing right we see this:
Q*bert is very common, a big hit at parties, easy to learn and play. Note, my game has the somewhat rare marquee header for the game. Stargate is a very difficult game to learn and play. It does not do well at parties, however most collectors like this game and so do I. Gravitar is a very difficult game to play. Probably the hardest in the room. It rarely gets played at parties. I don't care much for the game myself, and it has since been sold.

Continuing right we see this:
Asteroids Deluxe is the sequel to the wildly popular Asteroids. I personally like the game play of Asteroids better, but I like the cabinet of Asteroids Deluxe better. I have converted my game to be able to play either game, but usually keep it on Asteroids.

Continuing right we see this:
Defender was one of the most popular games ever. It is very common, but since they were played so much, it is difficult to find one in nice condition. It is a very difficult game to play and ususally does not get much game play at parties. Revenge From Mars is the only pinball game in my room, and gets played constantly at parties. Everybody can play pinball, even my mom in her 70's.

Demolition Derby is not working. :-( I'll tell you about it when it is working. I Robot is a very rare highly sought after game by collectors. It takes a while to figure out how to play, but it is a very fun challengeing game once you do.

Trap Shoot is very easy to learn and a lot of fun to play. It is the newest game in my room, and it can still be found on location, typically in bars. It is played by remote control. It gets almost constant play at parties.

And on our last move to the right, we see this:
The theater style popcorn popper is one of my prides. Popcorn is my favorite food, so I can think of nothing better than being able to have fresh hot theater style popcorn while playing my games. And what's different about the flag (it's not just the red border)? If you think you know, or you give up, click here to see the answer.
